Have a holistic overview of The Consulting Process (TCP). Understand the inter-relations of 7-step framework. Learn to use techniques in TCP to form and translate business needs into a business case/ engagement.

3. The 7 Step Consulting Process

Understand key learning and gist of the 7 steps in The Consulting Process:

  • Understand the business situation and frame the problem
  • Generate/refine issues and generate hypotheses
  • Determine required information and analysis needs
  • Develop a comprehensive workplan to task the whole project within a high-performing team
  • Use proven and useful techniques to collect data and perform research
  • Learn to apply basic analytical tools and techniques on the data collected
  • Summarize findings from the data analysis and translate these findings into high-quality recommendations

Speaker Profile

Subba has over 20 years IT industry experience of which over 11 years has been in the international environment with stints in a number of countries in Asia in a variety of roles. During that time, he has led and delivered a number of challenging engagements, managed large scale (>U.S.$5m) complex project and program management initiatives in IT deployment/rollouts and outsourcing areas from marketing, client engagement and delivery.

He has also led several engagements with blue chip clients in helping them develop and deploy complex E-Business initiatives.

  • Subba has designed and taught courses in E-Business, Business Strategy, Project Management, Performance management, Leadership development and Negotiation. Unique feature about some of the courses has been the use of movies.
  • Subba has developed several advanced methodologies in Consulting toolkit, Business and Internet strategy, Personal and executive Coaching roadmap, negotiation dynamics, Entrepreneurship development, creative thinking and Balanced Scorecard.
  • Subba has been invited to speak at many industry forums including the prestigious Business Week Annual CIO conference for the last 4 years.
  • He has developed a transformational Coaching program based on Asian principles and suited to Asian environment with a unique delivery model.

His strengths are predominantly in the areas of strategy development/deployment, program management, marketing, consulting, client engagement, and has translated these strengths into consulting, training and teaching advanced courses on these areas.

He is currently the Director – Ennovate Solutions, Singapore. Prior to Ennovate, he held Vice President and Director Positions in companies like NCR, Icon Media labs and Scicom. He served as the Program Manager, Strategic Planning at Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and before IDA, was the Manager Manager at American Mega trends.
